8 Simple rules to live freely

When I started thinking of all this, the list was a lot longer, I broke them all down to simply things the best I could. Here we go.

1. Take responsibility for everything you do. Don’t dwell on other factors in things that happened to go, reflect, move on, don’t make the same mistake twice.

2. Don’t be in such a rush to want to do everything. Do things one at a time and pace yourself. Time is not actually against you, work with it.

3. “Hate is baggage”. Solve resentments or just let em go. Learn to live and forget.

4. Think positively. Did you lose your job? Well you will go get another one. Did your love leave you? Dont sweat it too hard to refer to rule #2.

5. ¬†Stop trying to please everyone. Some people will never be satisfied. But do unto others as you’d have them do unto you (you know the clich√© rule of most religions)

6. Don’t get comfortable. Life’s a bumpy road, so if you sleep on the wheel, you might crash into a tree, or a cop for that matter.

7. Live simply. Look at all the possessions you have and think about how necessary it is to your life and question if you really need it. Give it to someone who does or donate it.

8. Be yourself. Don’t follow what others do for the sake of being “one of the group”, do your own damn thing! “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

Thank you WordPress. I would not have enjoyed carrying this in my hands all day.

The Golden Rule:

Life isn’t fair. But sometimes it’s pretty sweet. Make what you can out of it and always seek to do more.

What rules do you live by?
